What is Manthan?

“Behind every initiative we take at ComSoc KMC, there’s a conscious decision to create some sort of value for everyone who engages with anything that we do. Manthan, a born child of the same ethos, is an attempt to curate a platform that ignites curiosity in the minds of our readers and satiates their hunger for cognition. While we move towards bridging this knowledge gap, we also desire to create a medium for self-expression, a space that fosters the feeling of being heard. With an unwavering belief that knowledge shared is knowledge gained, I hope that everyone interacting with this platform feels that the time they devote here has been valuable for them, and if they leave feeling enlightened, eager for more, or even with nothing but a smile, the team will have accomplished its goal.”

This initiative, introduced as a weekly publication, aims to serve as a comprehensive resource hub for knowledge-seekers. Beyond delivering information, it seeks to cultivate a thriving community. It's a new action to bridge the gap in idea sharing and infuse a sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness among the members and the readers.

As the name insinuates, Manthan mirrors profound assertions and emotions, acting as a bridge between individuals and their innermost musings, translating thinking into phrases. Manthan, sculpted into a scaffold, offers an inclusive space for individuals to express their personal introspections and contemplations on various subjects within an official setting.

What does Manthan focus on?

Who is the Publisher?

The Commerce Society, or ComSoc of Kirori Mal College, is a student-run organisation dedicated to representing and fostering excellence while representing the Department of Commerce. ComSoc KMC is distinguished as an event-centric society with a singular dedication: nurturing commerce, trade, and finance aspirants. ComSoc's core mission is succinctly defined by three guiding principles: the three I's, i.e., ignite, initiate, and invigorate. The primary goal is to equip students with the skills and confidence to excel and empower them to embrace the challenges of the real world and make a lasting impact.

As someone who has long recognized the scarcity of opportunities for emerging writers within ComSoc, I am thrilled to the core to introduce our latest endeavour, Manthan. This undertaking is dedicated to our exceptional team and to all those who share our unwavering commitment to this journey of learning.
